WordPress Maintenance Terms and Conditions

TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) form a contract between Claire Hirst (Easy Website Club) (“Provider”) and you, the client (“Client”) for the provision of WordPress Website Maintenance and SEO Checks. By engaging in our services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below:

CONFIDENTIALITY
1.1. Provider acknowledges and agrees to treat all information and data shared by the Client as strictly confidential, except when required by law. The services provided, as well as any client data, will be handled in compliance with UK law and European GDPR Regulations.

RECORD KEEPING & DATA PROTECTION
2.1. The provider may take handwritten notes during conversations to ensure accurate record-keeping. These notes will be retained for a period of two years, after which they will be securely shredded.
2.2. In compliance with legal requirements, the Provider will keep records of the Client’s name, contact details, payment processing data, attendance data, appointments offered, attended, and cancelled, and payments made. This information will be kept for the purpose of maintaining an efficient booking system. Legally required documents will be retained for six years, after which they will be securely shredded.

INSURANCE
3.1. Provider maintains adequate insurance coverage. The provider has also undergone cyber awareness, data protection, and security training, and relevant certificates can be provided upon request.

WORDPRESS MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK
4.1. Provider will perform some or all of the following tasks (depending on your package) as part of the WordPress Management Framework:

Daily Security Checks
Hourly Monitor Uptime
Daily Malware Scan
Weekly SEO Ranking Checker
Weekly Google Analytics
Daily Comment Moderation
Cloning and Server Migration If Needed
Daily Vulnerability Detection
Maintenance Mode as needed
Major WordPress Software Updates As They Are Released
Daily Backups
Daily Theme Software Updates
Optional Extra Backups Included
Daily Plugin Software Updates
Daily Broken Link Checker
Daily Performance and Website Speed Checker
Add your website to Google Analytics and Google Search Console and check it is being indexed (looked at by Google).

FEES
5.1. Fees for the services will be paid monthly via subscription or upon receipt of an invoice. In the event of non-payment, the service may be halted until payment resumes.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
6.1. Subscriptions can be cancelled with one calendar month’s notice. No refunds will be provided for fees already paid.

FEEDBACK
7.1. Client feedback regarding the services provided is highly valued. Provider encourages open communication and welcomes constructive criticism to improve the work done together.

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between the Provider and the Client and supersede any prior negotiations or agreements. Any modifications to this Agreement must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
By engaging in our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
